hey fellow painters just switched from ppg to standox any tips would be greatly appreciated.
March 22, 2009 at 12:02 am #13532sorry i had to run out. we are using solvent really seems to be a nice product. colormatch seems ok so far.just wanted to see if anyone had any tips. by the way this site is great the pics and vids are neat.it may take me a while to get used to this computer stuff not really used to it yet but i got to tell it really helps to find info.

It’s always nice to meet a fellow paint splattering guy. I am not familiar with the line myself but I do recall seeing a few guys here that have used it & it sounds like a great line. I’m sure they will help you out when they see the thread. I’m gonna change the title of the thread to something that catches standox users attention, otherwise they may not even check it out. If you need any technical help just ask, theirs quite a few friendly folks here that will gladly help ya out.
March 22, 2009 at 10:30 pm #13535I started off with Standox. It’s very similar to Spies which I am familiar with. Which products are you using?
There base likes to be sprayed wetter than you would PPG.
Are you using Colornet software? Do you have an AquireX?

your advice is greatly appreciated ive been spraying the base wetter and its been working good. we been using 15-60 clear its nice but i like their premier hs clear better but its to slow for our production shop. - AuthorPosts
