Hey guys, i’m new to posting on this site but have been a frequent guest reading up on
information which has been helpful to me as I am currently by myself as a
second year apprentice and have no one teaching me except the internet.

So anyways I wanted to ask how do you guys go about colour matching
and what tips you could give with adding a certain colour to get the tone/shade you want etc
For eg. with Black colours, to lighten it,
what colour do you add, is it a little bit of yellow or red etc?

If the colour off the machine is far from colour of car due to it being old/faded etc.
How would you start getting it to that tone and shade?

Tips and advice to do with these sort of things with colour matching is what I’m looking for
so feel free to add anything you think may be helpful please, thank you.

I dont know what paint line you are using but most offer a class to teach you about the toners and there purposes and most have some type of wall chart that you can reference.
