    My name is Rich I own a 1969 Volvo 1800. I’m enrolling in the forum to find out how to identify a qualified body shop to do some restoration work. I live in the Hudson Valley region of New York, Dutchess County. I don’t know if it’s proper to ask on this forum, but I would like to ask other forum members if they can give me some recommendations for a quality shop in my area. Thank You, Rich

    Welcome Rich,

    no problems with your questions, we are pretty laid back in terms of the rules here. I don’t know the area so I can’t really recommend a shop but it’s good to see your doing your homework, there’s many poor quality shops out there waiting to take your money. I’d take some time to educate yourself on the proper repair process and you’ll be able to ask the right questions to find someone who knows what there doing. I wouldn’t mind seeing some pics of it if you have some, curious how large of a job it is. Also any pricing expectations on this?

    Hey rich. Where in Dutchess are you. I am in CT about an hour away from Poughkeepsie. I could look at the job for you or even recommend someone closer to you if you would like. I know a lot of shops out in that area as I sell used auto parts as well. Let me know If I can help
