Polish, swirl remover, glaze any difference

I have been buffing my vehicles with Dupont Compound and then using Dupont swirl remover and fininishing with Dupont hand glaze. This works pretty well but I keep noticing products refered to as polishes, glazes and swirl removers. Are all of these pretty much the same thing or am I missing a step in my process.
The glaze and possibly the swirl remover will have fillers in it. The polish would be your first step, swirl remover then glaze. I’m actually in the middle of a demonstration that will kinda show the difference between them, I’ll have some pics up soon that may help.
I heard 3m Superduty then zymol works great :stoned
