[size=7][b]How to post pictures:[/b][/size]
To post pictures in the gallery you will first of need to have them hosted by an image host such as “imageshack” or “photobucket”…their are more, they just store your picture on their server. The reason most forums don’t offer direct uploading into the forum is because it requires a lot of space that most sites can’t supply.
So to host a picture, we’ll go through step by step with imageshack, so you need to visit [url]http://www.imageshack.us/ [/url] first.
Simply click browse and locate the picture on your computer, click open. Scroll down a bit and click “host it”. After the picture is uploaded the next page will give you all the necessary links. Scroll down to the bottom of the page that says “direct link to image”. Ignore the fact that it says do not use for forum posts. Click the link in the box to highlight it, then right click and click copy.
Their so now your file is hosted by an Image server, that link you just copied is a direction to your picture.
Now, when your creating your post look in the toolbar above where you type for the “img” button. Click it an you will see two tags genereated that look like this:
[b]{img size=450}{/img}][/b]
you need to paste that link you copied earlier in between the two tags, it will look like this:
[b]{img size=450}http://img379.imageshack.us/img379/6265/0000880oz5.jpg{/img}][/b]
If everything went well, you should have a picture in place of that tag after posting.
Also, If you wish to resize the image, you can make it bigger or smaller by changing the image size (=450) higher or lower.
