We’ve had quite a few getting stroked these days & wanted to share a few examples…

this ones good, we had a grand prix with around $2300 worth of damage. It got totaled after hanging around our shop for about a month. The owner really wanted it fixed so bought it back $800 from the $3000 she got from the claim. We collected about 30 days storage @ $60/day = $1800, plus we agreed to fix it for the owner at $2200. A job that should have costed them $2300 now costed $4200 !!!! I’m not complaining by any means, but it really makes ya wonder!

Another impala was similar but we never ended up fixing it. The adjuster came in after a month and decided to write it off rather then fix it. it was a border line total and the storage they would have saved should have more then covered fixing it….i just don’t get it?

$60 a day for storage… OK! I just raised mine now (was $50). Hell, everyone else is doing it. Thanks Jimmo!

Lots of funny things happen in this business… And when lawyers are involved, the insurers/adjusters suddenly become
very generous; brand new OEM parts for a 99′ Camry, no sail panel blending, etc…
