Like I said wydir my catalog that I get every month has the 4000RP…..same price as the 3000….minus cup.
December 6, 2010 at 6:45 am #25895Thanks guys. Those fenders and doors were the last thing I sprayed before packing up my tools and leaving the resto shop. Doubt I’ll be doing to many jobs like this at the collision center. Probably won’t even pick up a paint gun there.
Think a kit of that is a little over $350 timbo. Nice stuff though.
December 5, 2010 at 3:23 am #25859I just left the resto shop I was at to try my hand at collision work. Resto shop was 58 miles from home, collision shop is 3 miles.
I don’t feel bad at all about leaving after 9 months of being there. Still trying to find my way after the paper mill I worked at for the past 15 years was shut down putting me and 1,100 of my coworkers out on the street. Nice to be back home.
Gotta look out for #1, while trying not to step in #2.
December 5, 2010 at 3:16 am #25858We did the interior too, there factory colors. Ivy Gold and something else I forget. The exterior is a newer european ford color, spanish olive.
Yup Mac, I’ve left that shop, for now anyway.
December 4, 2010 at 8:18 pm #25836Hey stone or jimmo, move this thread to the restoration section. Could’ve sworn that’s where I put it, not sure why it’s in intro’s. Thanks.
November 28, 2010 at 3:26 am #25609
Or is it best to re apply primer to the panel until you can sand all the guide coat off and still have full coverage of primer with out metal showing?
On a project like what you’re describing, Yup.
