looks really good, your not doing this full time?
No, well, not yet anyway.

Just been playing around in my shop at home for the past several years.

I recently accepted a job offer to work at a resto shop. Should start there in a few weeks assuming my request for an early release from my paper mill job comes through. They’re shutting down the mill I’ve worked at for the past 15 years in May. I figured I’d give the bodyshop business a try and see what happens.

    Thanks,

Really glad I was able to get it decent without pulling the glass.

    Made the owner happy.
Looks real good there blov. How did that DBC match from the Piller to the fender?
It’s not the best, but it’s close enough, the fender really should have been painted it’s a little wavy around the antenna mount but the owner didn’t want to fix that. I did have to replace the antenna mount and whip. Mailbox hit.

Check out my backyard lifting tape alternative AKA, 320 grit psa roll paper with the grit masked off. Stiff sandpaper slides under the mouldings easy. :pcorn:

You’re not gonna get anything too much cheaper than a poly.

yeah that’s pretty nice, the 15222 ain’t bad either.

I stay around 20-24psi for clear. Much more pressure than that and you kind of defeat the point of using an Lvlp. It just generates alot of uneeded overspray / wasted material. You just have to get used to spraying super close 4″ or so away from the panel at the lower pressures that they recommend.

I think I see the problem.

The legs on the stool are crooked. Try catching the reflection of a stool with straighter legs.

But seriously, if its got a wave in it that’s bothering you, just skim it wither filler and reblock.
