It’s the same here in Va. The DMV will send out an officer to inspect the vehicle. It’s not too big of a deal as long as you have your paper trail in order. You have to show reciepts for all the replacement parts used. They just want to make sure nothing is stolen and that the vehicle is safe for the road.
March 1, 2010 at 3:23 am #19811Hope to have the doors and fenders ready for primer in the next few days.
March 1, 2010 at 3:20 am #19810Got some epoxy and poly on the biggest part.
Drivers quarter may still need a little tweaking.

February 28, 2010 at 2:40 am #19772Sadly my friend that owns this Chevelle lost his battle with cancer. I’m still chugging along on it and will finish it the way he wanted it done. Hate he didn’t get to see it finished.
I hope I get it into primer soon. Kind of starting to look like a clay model. Tough to pick a place to stop while making one of these old things a driver.

February 25, 2010 at 4:06 am #19730Don’t know about the TCP but Crossfire metallics can be a bit tricky to spray, but they work and can save you some money vs. Tec Base. Some colors are great some colors are a nightmare. I’ve used a ton of the stuff.
February 14, 2010 at 9:03 pm #19558You like that better than the SATA vision?
Seems like I saw somewhere that SAS has come out with a flip model lately.
I used to use a hobbyair half mask w/hood anytime I sprayed clear,, gone back to a charcoal half mask lately.
I’ve tried the full mask, painters googles, safety glasses, the hood,,,,
Anything with peel offs are only nice for the first bit you spray with ’em. Between overspray and glare they get a bit aggravating. :pcorn:
February 13, 2010 at 7:34 am #19519motorgaurd wonder block is my favorite
not quite long enough for everything though, on big stuff I break out a durablock or my trusty old wood handled hutchins board sanders.
February 11, 2010 at 7:37 am #19462I did this one a few years ago……

February 10, 2010 at 2:41 am #19433It wouldn’t have been cheaper to just build a new house?
How you liking that Advantech?
February 10, 2010 at 2:22 am #19431I can’t find any Acura Wheel codes in any my martin senour chip books. Most every other make is listed….
February 9, 2010 at 12:43 am #19379I figured it was something along those lines. It’s the same with SATA. A vendor can sell stuff for whatever they wish, but you can only advertise so low….
Did you buy from them or someplace else?
I somehow got put on an email list for that site. Pricing looked good.
February 6, 2010 at 8:58 am #19299Not sure what’s up with that.
There was something listed on that site about a price increase coming on Iwatas.
Could try an email or call. Pretty sure Larry Bell runs that site.
