Forget the bedside, I’m more intrigued with how that Mustang keeps getting rolled around the shop from one corner to another in your progress pics lately. Sorta like playing Where’s Waldo in your threads now. :rofl

Nice,,, And here I thought that a hard days work and a glass of water would kill you. Maybe not.

Thanks, I’m just glad to have it done.

It’ll be nice to not have him stopping by checking on it 3 times a day.

Time to move on to other projects.

    :lol1

It’s OK, my skin isn’t that thin, they really do look like ass with all the deep rust pits, but I wasn’t gonna volunteer to get ’em pit free and he didn’t want to spend the money on a new unpitted set,, soooo

He spent $150 on a new hood emblem for it but thinks I’m reaming him on paint labor at around $1K. Go figure. :wak

Choked the fluid down a pinch but left the fan wide open, a narrow fan of stuff like that is just asking for runs IMO.

I think what your seeing is more so the severe pitting in the wheels vs. any sort of dry spray, etc.

1 round of high build and a pass with 400 then sealer and bc/cc was as far as I was gonna take those things. Sure wasn’t gonna break out any glaze or poly primer on ’em. :rofl

I’m surprised the turned out as good as they did. Still way too shiny for a tractor though.

Did you use the same roller to do that as you use on the cars that go in it? :pcorn:

Whats up with the trap door going to the squirell cage?

    September 21, 2009 at 5:17 am #16060

    It’s $30/gallon cheaper.
    😛

And to think there’s parts I sprayed that aren’t in this thread,,, man that thing ate some paint.

Did the rims in 15410,, think I like that stuff better than the Omni.

    September 21, 2009 at 4:46 am #16056

Glad to hear someone thinks it’s as ridiculous as I do. :rofl

Way too over the top IMO for a tractor. The only other ones I’ve ever sprayed I just painted the crap assembled the best I could, if I miss a spot because the paint gun wouldn’t reach it so be it,, it’s just a tractor.

Think that’s why I was frustrated with the guy every time he unbolted a part and blasted it. :wak

He’s got all new gauges, seat cushion, steering wheel, emblems, decals,,,, you name it going back on the thing.

I’ll try and get a pic of it all back together whenever that happens.

    WooHoo,,, I’m done :exci

    That’s it. :cheer:

I’ve been thinking about trying the 3M red next time I need some da paper.

Indasa da and continuous roll board sheets from 40-320 sucks.

I still like Mirka for mid priced paper from 40-320 da and contiuous roll board sheets ( I like the way it dispenses out of the box).

    The Norton is nice too.
