Tell ’em to bring it back when they get it all back together so you can update this thread. :cheer:
September 19, 2009 at 7:56 pm #16043:lol1 Yep, no runs on the tins. About 5-6 small specks of dust that I nibbed and buffed but that’s about it.
I still have the front rims and rear wheel centers left to do so there’s still a chance to hang a few.
That free kit of red Omni bc/cc that the tractor owner won didn’t spray to bad IMO. :pcorn:
September 19, 2009 at 8:05 am #16030I’d love to try one of those 3M PAPR or whatever they call ’em, like that hood design, but it’s a ton of money. Spraying with a half mask plays hell on my eyes, but I can barely stand the half mask and hood with the pump. SAS iso rated respirators are only like $12 so swapping to a fresh one every eight hours isn’t a big deal.

:lol1 nice work though cant wait ta see this thing tagether[/quote]I know,, I keep telling the guy that they didn’t look like that new, but he’s happy with it anyway. It’s gonna be one worthless piece of equipment when its done.
September 19, 2009 at 7:55 am #16028It’s all back together already except for the dash and hood sections,, he took the dash with him this afternoon so he could get the gauges and wiring done.
I’ve already been over to touch up the bolt heads he marred during reassembly.
Looks pretty good so far,,, too good for a tractor really.
It’s kind of a joke at work now, everbody I work with bust out laughing whenever they see this guy pull up on the gator visiting my department at work to check on the progress of his tractor.
I’ve seen this guy at least once a day at work + once a day at home minimum since I started this thing.
Be nice to stop dickin’ around with a tractor and start on the Chevelle next week.
September 19, 2009 at 7:40 am #16024Getting closer to being done.

September 19, 2009 at 6:36 am #16021The SAS masks I’ve been getting lately actually list that they are safe for use with iso’s,, as long as they’re used following a change out schedule. I thought that was interesting, first charcoal mask I’ve seen that state that. I haven’t used my fresh air system since I moved into my new shop.
