It would help to pull the dings and work down the highs before filling, unless they’re super small. But yes, grind the whole area down to metal, fill and block the whole area.

Ryan, is right a 3/32″ orbit is just about useless. I use a 3/16″ 90% of the time and a 3/8″ when I’m pissed off at a lump of filler.

It looks like the paint or fiberglass is shattered at the bottom of the ground effect? Also looks like the door has been nicked with sandpaper? No?

Blend the fender into the door, clear the fender and door.

The color looks like it matched pretty good on the hood bumpers.

Spread some metal glaze over the sag then block w/320-800 until the glaze and sag are gone then progress up to 1500-2000 and buff.

Are you reducing the 4:1 blov?[/quote]

    Not usually.

Not all poly primers go over bare metal. Most evercoat stuff needs something under it.

I like the 4:1 super build myself. That can go over bare metal, etch, epoxy, old finishes, etc. and it builds like crazy. Like 8-10 mils per coat.

I’d skip the skim coat and go with poly primer.

The shop I’m at gets most of that type of stuff from The Clip House.
