Bro do as suggested above.. Charge much much much more than you think.. The gig with a candy is this.. you wont be blending some F’d up spot.. No sir, you will be re basing the whole fuk’n thing and then starting over.. dirt is another issue with candy.. THey make dark specs.. Oh yeah,, cant have those either.. To do a good job in my opinion, it all needs to be shot at the same time.. All of it.. including jambs.. Best of luck to you.. and wipe the idea of fixing spots if you have them.. Just fuk’n wipe that idea right out of your head.. and understand, you will be sanding, re basing and starting over with the candy.. Oh yeah and lets not forget the need for fresh paper after all of this.. Candy is beautiful.. Cant beat the look, but you will spend 3 times as much as you think to get it done correctly..

Honestly Ryan I dont care what we spray as long as I can spray it at home.. As for the Highlands.. I spent many years in the highlands brotha.. of course its been some time since ,but I know all about the area.. It was an especially fun place back when there was no 4th street live going on.. 4TH STREET really hurt the area in my opinion.. same atmosphere but less people than there used to be back in the day.. God I sound old nowB)

Well I found some time to finish this turd off.. Still no glass although the owner now says he wants me to replace it for him in a few weeks.. Sure wish he had the money before hand.. Anyways a couple pics of it.. Only had to buff the fender.. It found all the trash the door and A post didnt:laugh:

I considered washing the rest of the panels.. but then I thought for the price he got this he could wash his own car.. The inside is as dirty if not more dirty than the outside:blush:

I spray the G2 now as well since Dinger told me to give it a try.. I had used the old feather fill but was not happy with the performance.. So far no complaints.. I shoot it out of a QUL 1.9 with a tad of reduction to get it to lay out smoother.. It is more peely than urethanes, but I think this is the norm with this product

It was my hinge prop:laugh: :laugh: , then the damn thing fell off the hammer.. That used to be my favorite pick hammer, then I broke the handle.. Too lazy to go and buy another one:P handle that is;)

Man on man.. now tomorrow after i set down all day in the paper pull booth.. that is where they remove the paper for 2tones and wipe off the excess paint, I will have more energy to do more.. I may cut in the fender and door with base and then lay down 1 wet coat of clear with some accelerator in it.. then get up at 3:30 instead of my normal 4:30 and hang the parts on before I leave for work.. That way when I get home, I can tac it off and go..
I may be feeling so festive that I go and get this young cat and return his car to him on Turkey day so he has wheels… Well maybe:huh:
The owner who mixed it says to my wife today he has bad eyes.. He grabbed the number 21 can when he was supposed to grab the number 20.. Guess cause he cant see well, he also did not notice that it was red he was pouring in my silver paint:laugh:
Im home now from a long 10 hour day spraying clear coat on the exterior of the truck, robots down all week they are saying:( .. Probably sprayed 700 trucks today or more, so do you think I am in the mood to go out in the garage now and work more..

I took the fender and picked thru 7 alts.. They just had to mix it wrong brother is my opinion on the situation.. I am sending momma up there tomorrow while I am at work.. Already put the fender and paint in the expedition for her.. God love a woman who understands paintB) She will crack the whip when she gets there;)
