DuPont Chroma Base. Autoglas euro design ag40 clearcoat by Matrix. I would not use it again, it simply does not flow out(could be me), nor holds its gloss. I have been using Trans Star “Euro” high solids and really pleased with it…..but this matrix really looks just as good once it’s sanded/ buffed.

I stripped it bare. I thought I read somewhere on this site it’s recommended to Epoxy first as a moisture and sealing barrier, but not everyone did this additional step. I guess my theory is that there is just a slight bit more build. As you said, lots of leveling to do,…and the color will be black.

I just don’t want to have a comeback because fiberglass is popping thru the primer. There’s really not a lot of fiberglass repair to be done, so I’m fortunate there. I was just looking for solid info on the epoxy or polyester to back up my my decision .. Thanks
