stick with what you know. trying new stuff on a complete is a good way to have a bad day.

Best thing you can do with the digital guns is buy a good diaphram regulator and ignore the dig. readout. Its probably about the biggest waste of $100 anyone could spend. in fact, I hated my digital so much, I gave it away
Man have you seen the 2013 Chevys? I am doing 2 of the 4 door trucks in black right now and im not real sure how I will get that much peel. I used to use my Sata 3000 HVLP base gun to get the peel dead on, but I think it will even spray clear too nice.
Nice stuff Andy. Never really got a good chance to try an Iwata. I used to use my NR2000 hvlp for clear and that was pretty slow. and I hear the iwatas arent really fast. If you had to do a complete, would your arm fall off

Thats pretty shitty to pull a pic from another guys site without concent, call him a liar, and bash his product. Not cool bro. Used to have a little respect for you.
Sorry. Didnt realize you were so sensitive.
First off, this tread was started as a humorous response to your buddies over there that had to pull up a 2 year old thread to try and start shit. if you come up for air long enough you would realize that.
Second of all, the fact that there is a buffing rag on the car and compound spatter in the first photo suggests that the car was already buffed. This was already questioned on your buddies site, by me. nothing earth shattering there, and certainly not stating something behind someones back that wasnt already stated to them.
Third, I didnt see any copywrite on the photos. people grab photos off the net all the time and post them. Ever here of the Chive, or Reddit. The issue comes when you claim someone elses photos as your own. Dont believe I did that here. however I do remember someone doing that on your buddies site at one time.

Let us know how that Sagola works out. Post a photo when you paint something with it. Just so you know, my SATA can spray that crappy SW stuff just as nice as it sprays high end stuff, so maybe your issue wasnt really the materials

my nr2000 with 1.4 works great for sealer. If you clean your gun well after each use, there is no reason you cant use your base gun for sealer. thats what I do

Candy it all first and clear, mask of the stripe and spray the black. clear entire tank again. then scuff and shoot the stripe with flat clear

cause it’s kinda funny that every new gun len sells is the best ever, and everyone over there drinks the kool-aid. Sata’s were great until he stopped selling them, the durablock was great, the Plus gun was the best ever, The CVi, then the tekna, now sagola. Hard to take seriously when the bullshit is so deep

I see you fail to comprehend the liability one assumes when fixing someone elses vehicle. Until Chery Max or any other fastener company gains approval from BMW for the repair of their vehicles the proper product and equipment must be used. God forbid in this world someone gets injured in a car I repaired and the sue happy lawyers want to take everything I worked hard to earn. I will feel much better explaining to the Judge and jury that the repair procedures I used were directly from the manufacture of the specific vehicle and they were followed to the T, as opposed to saying “well Doright said I could do it this way on a paint forum and he knows way more about rivots than the manufacturer does”

    January 26, 2013 at 8:00 pm #40645

There is no HOWEVER!!! They may meet or exceed factory requirements, but I dont know that. and unless they are approved by the factory for use in the repair, you are taking a HUGE liability playing backyard engineer. Thats best left for the 101 crowd :pcorn:

I can lay primer down like glass with a nap roller from home depot if i thin it out enough. Not saying the sagola doesn’t shoot primer nice, but what other guns are you comparing it to. How does it shoot thick High solids low voc primers that arent full of solvents?
