cause it’s better than having it flash before it leaves the gun :whistle:chromapremier paint has been out for quiet awhile. most likely peeling is due to an application issue. cheap thinner clear that is sanded and buffed will likely not have the proper film build needed. Also adding activator to the base is required with the chromapremier line. possibly this step was skipped
so whats the point. do you sell in a mandated low voc area? and if thats the case, why not just sell a product that works the way it is supposed to

Because its not required its an option. Plus your puting base coat on top of base coat, the mid uses the same binder as the ground coat. I never had a problem with the tri coats. But now i said that…….. 😆 :lol:[/quote]Tech sheet says required on all tricoats (in the ground and mid coat.) 😛
Its required due to the increased film build. makes it a stronger more stable due to it being crosslinked as opposed to a thick layer of uncatylised paint 😉Tricoats require dc57. Not sure why you would get options for other ratios than 1:1. The base coat black is about the only tiny I know that is reduced differently. And that’s 1: .5. It’s possible it’s a used computer that another shop set up with diff ratios

DBC is 1:1. What options are you getting? with dx57 it’s 1:1:5%.
