Scratch resistant clears :unsure:October 19, 2011 at 5:46 pm #33674Doesnt matter what we think (well ok it does) But it’s up to you. before you switch to anything make sure you demo the paint for at least a few weeks so you know how it is going to perform in your shop
October 19, 2011 at 4:42 am #33654I did a 2010 GMC Dually with that exact same dent. But luckly mine was white

If you already have black, then just pick up white. That way you can make any shade of grey you need.
Ding, that’s one of the simplest most profound statemnts I’ve encountered in quite some time. Why in the world did I have black sealer and white sealer and then go buy gray (I missed the common sense rule on that one, haha).
Good deal Nex as always.
Think he asks his question in the first post of this thread  :huntOctober 17, 2011 at 2:42 am #33579
Man this post is a blast from the past. I guess I should update, stick with the 3000. After using the 4000 for a bit I think the 3000 is a better gun. The 4000 can lay a flat coat of clear but it is slower and more finicky.
So the Old Pro is flip flopping :pOctober 16, 2011 at 4:38 am #33552
What sucks is when I asked NAPA why their products don’t have any spray info. on them they said something about the company isn’t allowed to put that info. on the cans. They said you have to go to their website and look up the info. They also said their products are made for professionals. Maybe I should have said,” Well, I better go somewhere else then!” lol Thanks Ding!
no product has the tech sheets on them. your jobber should give them to you or you get them off the web site. they are correctOctober 16, 2011 at 4:21 am #33547read the tech sheets for the specific products you are using. they will tell you everything you need to know in reguards to flash time, coats, etc
