Maybe I’m messed up, but nothing turns me on more than Bondo in a suit shoot :rock
 :rofl :rofl :rofl
February 4, 2011 at 4:19 am #28056Gotta love spinning metal studs in a plastic panel. the stud should be threadded into the panel. as you are turning them does it appear as the trim is being pushed away from the gate. if that is the case just keep it up. the panel will come off with the studs still on the gate. if not then you have to hold the studs and turn the nuts out with a wrench. the ends of the studs should look like a torx bit. you can use a reverse torx socket to hold the stud so you can break the nut lose with a wrench (kinda like you have to do with swaybar links )
February 3, 2011 at 5:44 am #28014
no shop should ever be that clean and tidy, to the point where you can actually find things. i’m pretty jealous. nice place. what are those robot looking thingys hang down next to each car?
Those are the CNC controlled Body RobotsFebruary 3, 2011 at 1:46 am #28006Dont worry Andy. if Bondo isnt ashamed of his jobs then there’s no way you should be 😉
Looks like a cool shop. Is it mostly used car work that is going on there? cant imagine its all insurance work. One of the local wholesale auctions here has a large bodyshop that tidys up cars before the salesFebruary 2, 2011 at 1:58 am #27984
Is there a special technique you use to get that much orange peel in the Liberty or is it just natural talent? 😆
