    Stopped by to check it out today and those 3 coats of 710 didnt die on me :cheers
    surprised the heck out of me since it was 90 in the booth. just have to give it a quick cut to flatten out the tape lines and it can go

    ya thats 710 on there. 90 in the booth today. probably die like a bastard on me :blush:
    The gloves are to protect the paint from my nasty sweat. I’m not worried about a little color on the fingers 😛

    well they want you to restore it to factory specs. they wouldnt want the repair to last longer than the rest of the car

    Tough to pinpoint the source of fisheyes over the net. could be lots of things as stated above… check everything. someone nearby could have sprayed something in the air that caused it.
    On a side note. no need to take bare metal to 320. 180 is plenty if your gonna seal and paint. and if your not using a grinder for your prep and you put 3 coats of 2k on like you did you can even get away with 80 grit. the sand scratches in metal are not as deep as ones in paint 😉

    make sure all your hose and fittings are big enough to supply the needed air to an HVLP (high Volume low pressure) High flow fittings and 3/8 ID air line.
    I know you paid extra for that dig display but done rely on it. get yourself a good diaphragm regulator.

    dont over analize it. kick your 4th coat between 2 and 3. really if you have the ground coat right there wont be much diff between that 3 and 4th coat…
