Did you know chrysler doesn’t approve the use of weld-thru primer??? Not sure why being they seem to rust worse than any other car. :whistle:Nice pics.
well they want you to restore it to factory specs. they wouldnt want the repair to last longer than the rest of the carJuly 14, 2010 at 3:44 am #22752looks pretty sweet. How did you manage hangers with that dc3000  Sure I didnt paint it

http://www.autobody101.com/forums/July 11, 2010 at 5:09 am #22657Tough to pinpoint the source of fisheyes over the net. could be lots of things as stated above… check everything. someone nearby could have sprayed something in the air that caused it.
On a side note. no need to take bare metal to 320. 180 is plenty if your gonna seal and paint. and if your not using a grinder for your prep and you put 3 coats of 2k on like you did you can even get away with 80 grit. the sand scratches in metal are not as deep as ones in paint 😉July 11, 2010 at 5:04 am #22656that last photo would have looked better if it was cleared with FC720 :lol1 :lol1 :lol1
BTW Have you seen my kids… that looks like there artwork on the walls :whistle:July 11, 2010 at 1:04 am #22644nice job dag. I like the way you tape :cheers even though it is with newspaper 😛 nice technique
July 10, 2010 at 4:04 pm #22624make sure all your hose and fittings are big enough to supply the needed air to an HVLP (high Volume low pressure) High flow fittings and 3/8 ID air line.
I know you paid extra for that dig display but done rely on it. get yourself a good diaphragm regulator.July 10, 2010 at 3:47 pm #22623dont over analize it. kick your 4th coat between 2 and 3. really if you have the ground coat right there wont be much diff between that 3 and 4th coat…
