how much of the rear section did you replace. almost sounds like one side is shorter than the other. how are your measurements on the frame?

Ya you will definatly want to give it a little tug before cutting it off. get the gaps back to where they need to be then drill out the welds. as far as battery operated spot weld cutters that would be a cordless drill and spot weld bit

Joe, you obviously didnt take lessons from Crash on 90 line otherwise you would be singing it praises :rofl :rofl :rofl .
Seems a lot of people like sikkens though for water. I never used it but know a few shops that use their solvent base and was never impressed with the way it looked

I know a guy at a junk yard that uses SEM’s quick set 50 to repair broken headlite tabs. Supposedly he will V out area around the break on both sides, swipe a little bit of adhesion promoter on the plastic then smear some quick set on there. it sets in about 50 seconds and fully cures in a few minutes. it forms a nice strong bond but not so stiff that its brittle.
of course this is only what I have heard

Looks real nice. Lot of work there.
Explain why you put fleece down then cover it with fiberglass and filler. why not just start with fiberglass.
WOW THATS GREAT, HOW OR WHAT DID YOU USE TO CUT IT SO CLEAN? MY AIR CHISEL WOULD NEVER LOOK SO NICE…
My helper cut it off with the air saw. dont trust him yet with the air chisel :wak almost handed it to him but I thought better of it :chair

Not really impressed with the car Han. just a glorified saturn. theres a reason neither of them are in business anymore.

The CVI is ok. dont really like it for base. it lays the clear out pretty good but I think it puts it on a little bit fatter than the sata. but for some reason I can run it with the sata and not so much with the CVI
