I have a raised basement downdraft and washin the stuff off was kinda a pain. last stuff I bought was a peel off coating from chemco (same people i et my filters from) http://www.chemcomfg.com/. It doesnt do on as clear as the washable stuff. its kinda milky looking but doesnt seem to affect the lighting at all. I did one change already and had my helper peel it off. he said it came off pretty easy. That stuff was about $100 for the 5gl pail.
As far as using the stuff to put on a car for masking I think its a waste of time and money. I know some shops that do it when the car first comes in to keep the body shop dust and primer overspray off but I think its just as easy to put a sheet of plastic over it.September 19, 2009 at 2:55 am #16017Congratulations Jimmo :rock . Think I’ll have to print that and frame it. and welcome Paul :welc .
