airhead
In your posts it seams you talk about other sights and of pics but there’s no links?

That work you posted looks nice by the way welcome to the sight! :welc

If that was my car I would do as the others have said and try to fix it as best you can first.
Even if you end up changing the quarter youll need all the pinch welds back were there supposed to be.

Just me but Id part it out and look for another one with a bad engine/Tranny or a bad front end and sell the parts, Like some one else said its only a 1.5k-2k dollar car its worth more in parts than it is as a whole car.

You can make money with lower end cars like this but you have to be smart and not loose your butt in the labor you put into them or Buying the parts for them, You also have to buy them right, for me I wouldn’t pay more than 300-400 for that car 500 is pushing it especially for a 2000 dollar car fixed.
I hate gorilla glue…
That crap is like expanding foam from hell.
I used it once on a chest in the house, was putting sliders on the feet so it wouldn’t scratch the wood floor.
Well I figured a little chocolate chip size for the silver dollar sized slider would be good enough. Came back, and not only had it expanded all around the damn thing and consumed part of the foot of the chest, it also glued it to the fu!@#$%^ Floor!

Strong, Hell yes it is strong! I had to sand that *** off. (So much for not scratching the wood floors!) What a mess. What a disaster. Never again…

They should at least inform you on the bottle that it will expand to 600 times it’s original size, and it will consume and cover anything within a 1 mile square radius…
:rofl :rofl :rofl :lol1

Thats a funny story Rat

I think they do say something about expanding in the fine print lol
now can i run this trap right out of the compressor to the hose and to the paint gun?
You can, but you’re much better off having a decent length of metal pipe between the compressor and the trap. This will allow the air to cool before it gets to your trap, so more water will have condensed out of it, making the trap more effective.
I agree more metal line before trap like 20+ feet of it! you want that air to cool off first before it gets too any trap first! The more it cools the more water it gives up.

Easy
Do you follow each build with pics as you go start to finish for the owners? or your self?

I like to take pics of every thing start to finish but sometimes more often than I like I forget to grab the camera and get to lazy to go back to the house to grab it and just keep going.

It would be cool to see the suspension mods you did to the 53. Did you raise the floor on it to drop it that low? or is it all in the Bags?

My 41 had very little rust and I need very few parts for it as well.
The car was in very good condition before I started. Im just repainting it no mods just stock with the old stock Flat head.

When your building a Bagged suspension do you use a Chassis jig?

This is only part of my system but it keeps water out of the paint booth its totally over kill with the rest of the shop system, but I have clean dry air.

Hi Easy
I’m very Jealous of the 53
Whats the plan for it any thing special?

Whats the story on the 41? Ford Sedan in the back ground?
Got one of those stuck in my paint booth now, It seams my Body man/Painter/Mechanic broke his arm and will be out for a little longer.

I see your using Photo bucket to host your pictures to very smart!
They are very user friendly I think.
That is after you master saving your pics form your camera on your to your PC
and then BE able to find them on your PC
when your ready to upload them on there web sight thats a B isn’t it?

Oh the joys of learning computers but they are pretty cool and easy after you nail down some basic stuff.
I can live without a TV and a phone but there’s no way I could live with out a PC not now.

Don’t even ask me how to navigate your files there if you create Albums.
Tried it once didnt like it There supposed to be easy to file and manage but…

I have almost 500 pics there now and there starting to be a pain to find when I want,
Look through page after page Maybe I will start using the feature.
