    I reformatted the hard drive and re-installed windows on an older desktop computer and now I can view the slide show and the videos. I’ll have to compare settings to see what’s different – maybe its the antivirus software on my laptop. Thanks for your help.

    All security settings set as instructed but still no success. A new window opens but it is blank – I can’t see the slide show or the video in Internt Explorer. I can only see the slide show in FireFox. I also tried setting to low security level – didn’t make any difference.

    I had shockwave already enabled in Internet Explorer. I found I was able to download the file and I could view the course except none of the video inside the program worked. I down loaded Firefox – was able to download the file and view it here as well but no embedded video. In both browsers, I had the pop up blocker turned off (yellow bar). Even with it on, it wasn’t poping up anyway.
