I’m on a slightly new polishing regime, recommended to me by a new employee. For speed it work likes a gem
I Start nibbing large bits of dirt (If any) with 1200 wet and dry on a little round 3M Red block (Bout 10p sized). I quickly (Real quick) rub over the pannel with a piece of 1200 wet and dry by hand just to knock the top off. I then use a 260L 3m 1500 on the DA, followed by a Mirka 2000 Abralon, followed by a quick (Again really quick) buzz with a 3000 Trizac on the DA
I then use a combiation of 3M Fast cut plus (Green Top) and 3M Perfect it (Yellow top) on the 3M green compunding foam. I agree with what others have said, the green foams are great but really fast wearing! They fall to pieces if you catch an edge lol.
