Here are some pics of the car painted, not perfect by any means but will be pretty nice for a driver.I still have to do the parts yet but we are very close to being finished.

Excellent advice so far,you could also jump right to a 1.4 if you are looking for speed.

I have used marigold orange flock lined gloves for close to 2 decades. We are still old school and clean our guns in a tank full of thinner and I can get 2-3 weeks out of a pair and the cotton lining will end your rash. Are you sure they are not latex?
Here is a link to the gloves

Well hot damn Jack,I wish you well with your new system :cheers If I was using dbc I would use concept 2021 for bigger jobs and 2042 for smaller ones. You can use dcx61 hardener or the faster one to speed things up,2021 is a pretty versatile clear that works in any booth.I would use k38 for primer, dont bother with k36.Good luck 😉

that wont be as much fun as watching a rep make an ass out of himself :stoned

    October 22, 2013 at 7:16 am #45045

come on, you have been pushing basf since you got here and your posts prove it.

    October 22, 2013 at 7:06 am #45042

Not my first rodeo either pal,120 k doesn’t mean anything and everyone knows paint reps make so much :wak .Your bragging up a product that has issues and everyone knows it.Maybe tell the truth instead of knocking everyone elses product just to make a sale, that is the same old bullshit that everyone is tired of……

Not all bumpers come primed, nissan, toyota, hyundai are all bare plastic. An oem primed bumper is ok,but most aftermarket primed bumpers should be stripped.

    October 22, 2013 at 4:50 am #45021

Typical paint rep reply”must be something your doing as nobody else is having these problems” :headsmack:

    October 22, 2013 at 3:52 am #45015

Oh and basf is such a bargain 😡 Every brand has good and bad points…..
