I have been using it for 3.5 years and have to say it is pretty forgiving. You can do the coat and a half thing,2 medium coats,or 1 medium and one hammer coat or 2 hammer coats for chevelles and other things :p I really don’t have anything bad to say about it.Maybe in the summer heat it can be a little on the fast side for completes and doesn’t stay open as long as hs+,but it looks so nice!!!!I use a sata rp 1.4 wide open fan and material settings at 32 psi,3-4inches away with 75% overlap and it works for me.
if i could i would man, it will be the next step got 3 poeple coming to prove to me that its the best stuff on the planet but i dont see them delivering
How about you schedule a demo of ppg envirobase or sikkens AW at the same time those 3 reps come in so you can show them some real paint :clappy :clappy :clappy

A friend of mine used to work at the local dodge dealership and they went from global to sherwill AWX,he said that most od the jobs either looked like leather or they would comeback with delam problems and color match was non-existent.

Its still a bad habit to get into,at least sand the whole bumper with 400 and a red pad to knock the shine down before you prime. There might be areas that are still shiny or the shiny ring of paint under the primer will kick you in the balls.Old proverb that everyone should obey”No sandy No sticky”!!!!He was just trying to help you Nex,don’t do it next time. 😉

A good semi gloss or flat black is utech 200 and you can play with how much flattening agent you put in to get your desired gloss.Autocryl rally black was awesome when I could get it  Centari better than autocryl  that is blasphemy :rofl

All of the teknas spray the same, the most popular do anything set up would be the 1.3/1.4 tips with a 7E7 compliant air cap.
