wow. that is really nice.. did u use the 1.2 tip for the clear?
1.4 wide open. Pro air out of a 1.2 would be damn near impossible. You can hammer that *** with a 1.4 and it won’t move.
You really need to pay attention to PRO-Bondo when he lectures on gun set up :wak :stoned
Nice job Ryan…looks smooth and clean :clappy ,for us Proair is no more, except for Pro-air LV which is basically energy pro 250.I found anymore than 3 panels even using slow was pushing it,but our booth moves a ton of air.

Geez Ben you are starting to sound like the Captain….no sh!t it’s about coverage. You missed my point, when doing a color check with a transparent color, a checkerboard sprayout card isn’t going to show you d!ck except it takes 5 coats to get coverage. If you use the same color sealer on the card while you are doing the job you will get a more accurate idea of how many coats for covearge and colormatch. :p

You are absolutely right about red oxide mo,I try to duplicate the same color sealer that the factory uses, works very well. :clappy

I disagree, when… if ever have you sprayed black and white checkerboard sealer:silly: Spray the color of sealer you are going to use on the spray out card first then apply your basecoat , you will know the true number of coats you need for coverage and to check color match.Sometimes the color of sealer can cause a difference but really coverage is coverage.

Nope it was me that said that :stoned He said he had a bottom heavy pattern, usually means your fluid tip is damaged or your air horns are dirty.Turning the fan in to clean up the edges is one thing, but to cure a top or bottom heavy pattern is asking for problems.

Looks like the old Blackhawk Korek (korak) system,I’m showing my age but I have worked on 6 different ones over the years, more versatile than any other floor system.

I also like the idea of having an econo mode in a spray booth. This feature allows your booth fans to go to half speed and recirculate the air(like on bake cycle) when you are not spraying instead of running wide open and dumping heated air outside. This is something we are looking at right now, both of our booths run from 7:30 am-5:00pm 5 days a week,so we could use the savings. Also an easy way to maintain balanced air pressure that is adjustable, like variable frequency drives for the fan motors that automatically adjust, this feature alone would make our chinese booth more attractive and user friendly 😛
