i like useing microfibre cloths seem to work real nice. and dang rat, who has 30 mins. to wait for w&g to dry? lol.
i agree with rat, i have notice that if my towels are soaked from excessive use, that i’m basically put on too much cleaner, and it’s not flashed off enought, and too much will cause fish eyes.
with the wb cleaner try wipeing in one direction, that could help.
as for the detail shop if you think that is causeing some problems, you could go down and explain to them what there products could be doing to you, 1/2 block is a bit far, but it’s possible, and ask them to switch to a wb silicone tire dressing. as a matter of fact you could get some give it to them and ask them to use it, as a peace offering. they refuse, you buy a can of paint striper and start spraying the cars they detail.

if i’m not mistaken, we used to paint some vans around here that a fluo yellow color, i was told that the coverage sucked, and the it would fade fast. i believe some years ago, some nascar teams ran the fluro. schemes, looked cool under the lights at night. you should check with the comp. that sold you the paint and see what color of under coat they recomend, and also make sure your not over reduceing the color.
here’s an exp. the harliquint colors (color changeing) required a black base for optium coverage, so it could be infact that you may need a dark color. good luck and let us know what happens.

make sure your useing the correct temp recducer too. i would also agree with the others, a rebaseing is in order, a orientation coat won’t due much, most likely won’t even cover.

Water is more easily absorbed by the body.

To be honest all of this stuff is extremely harmful to the body. Fresh air should be used for any of it.
man I wish i had fresh air, the booth I use has no fresh air and gets pretty foggy when im clearing, the thing is a pure cancer box man. Ive also been feeling quite sick by the end of the day (headache, stomach discomfort) if I breathe in the smallest ammount of anything containing isocyantes it seems. The stuff never used to bother me, and now it seems I can barely work out a full day now.. even when wearing my respirator all day.
i agree with the others about gettin checkin out. this is why i decided to wear a full out paint suit, and a full face mask when clearing. got tired of arm hairs gettin sticky, hair, crying because of clear burning my eyes.
now when you say water, i would say that depends, not all water is true water base. but how ever i know it’s a no, no, but i have sprayed enviro with out my mask, never made me cough or spuint my eye’s. but still, i should know better.

it dries just as if not quicker, the blends are are super easy, it lays flater, and the mets. pop more. down side it’s more expensive.

as for the audi, we did it that way, because we could figure out how to get the mirror off, i would have required an angled star head screw driver. so we googled, and found that you have to remove the mirror glass, unhook the wires and relase the spring mechnism some how, then remove the base, so you understand right?

insurance work is what puts the food on the table. as for r and i stuff, it depends on the insurance comp.. and then if we do get the time, well, you know how that go’s.
we do r&i do handles, mirrors, lights, covers rarely.
