December 6, 2011 at 8:06 am #34525i haven’t had this issue either, looks more like a rock chip or some one didn’t seal the part prior to painting, or just a missed spot durring prepeing.
November 20, 2011 at 5:38 am #34302looks great ding. i even love the way you photoshop the front plate so as we couldn’t tell where the car is from.
November 17, 2011 at 5:37 am #34243I never had a problem with this color. But to add to the whole 2 coat & 3ct thing, I have done the ford e9 in the 2ct & I can get by, but if do the 3ct it does have more depth. Now ppg does offer the e9 & pel in 2ct formulas in the dbc but not 301n, how ever in enviro e9 or pel is only a 2ct & not offered in 3ct. I just did a caravam last week. New hood butt matched to the factory. Ender. Perfect. Which is nice cause u don’t have to do a mid coat. I was told also that the cheater formulas were for doing spot jobs. But, that’s what I was told.
November 13, 2011 at 7:04 am #34168
so you mother fuk the guy for taping of the emblem but you left the moldings on :wak :rofl :rofl
if i remebered correctly, did some one backed tape a whole roof line on a monte? :p :rock
November 13, 2011 at 7:02 am #34167so ya’ll saw that huh? ok, lets see here, excuse #1, we left the belt molding on, due to the fact it has a tab made into it, and we tear the paint up putting it back on. #2 there’s a black rail guard that is double sided taped on, and the box sits on that, didn’t want to tear the pad up gettin it off. #3 i like to test my skills so i left the bumper on, plus if i took it off it would have totaled out the truck……
but at least i did take the eblem off, and to make up for the other stuff, i painted the other door molding free of charge. so ha.

October 22, 2011 at 9:55 pm #33716it looks good nex. lil light compared to the fender, but good enough for a butt match. take some trizact 3000 to the drivers headlight and buff it out. it’ll look like the other one.
October 21, 2011 at 6:08 am #33700like the others said, spray it exactly the way the instructors tell you.
