    Awesome news. Basically the guy at the second shop said it couldn’t be done that way. But he actually came out with the paint before putting it in the can and thinned it out with a clear liquid, matching the old color. Lol, so basically he did what said couldn’t be done.

    I have something called Melt Away for the edges, but the question is more geared to what can be put in a custom can. The one I just bought says nason 441-37, supposedly its dupont paint. Can they really not make a batch of my stock code paint, mix it with 50% clear basecoat of the same paint and put it in a can? That way Id do the same thing that’s typically done with a gun.
