    Have you tryed the tack and whack method?? Your first coat is just a real misty tack coat no gloss at all then hit it straight away with a full wet coat. Tack coat helps the following wet coat stick to the panel and edges like door handle indents body lines door edges etc.. Also as jayson said increase speed a bit and distance wind your fluid in a bit too. We all get the odd run from time to time all part of it. Just like the beaters miss pinholes and dents :rofl

    Thats just black for ya. Black is very hard to keep clean as soon as you wipe down the car and wash it theres scratches every were. :chair

    Hi there 1.6mm is a pritty big setup.. What are you going to use the gun for base or clear?? my prefrence is 1.3mm for base and 1.4mm for clear. But still can get good results with 1.3 for clear some high solids dont like it though.. Yes you will need to change needle aswell expect to pay a couple of hundy for a brand new setup..

    Clear the whole panel out… Not really a good idea to blend out clear half way through the door wont last..

    My opinion sata is the best for base coat. Iwata seems to put the clear on nice and flat :rock
