i will never think of blending in the same way after this thread
id replace that fender and blend the new one in to the adjacent panels
id only blend the door, screw the other fender unless the hood is gonna be painted too?
only akzo brand i use is Wanda. great stuff btw
wow nice job ryan!! :cheers that clear has a lot of depth. doesnt look like you need to do any cutting and buffing either . jealous of the booth lighting and booth in general lol
You want a grey sealer if you are painting white. If you seal white you may end up missing some spots due to not being able to tell the sealer from the base.
good point, u can also use a white sealer and add a drop of black to give it an off white color. i recently used a white transtar sealer and it was a packaged a bit off white but saved me tremendous amount of color, too dark a sealer and ur color ends up looking off white too
its a good idea to finish off the areas of body work with primer and sand and then coat the entire car with sealer to give it uniformity since its a complete respray.
try some transtar sealer.
just weld them on :clappy
had a bad saturday last week too. took the buffer to a newly panited bumper that didnt need any buffing and burned rite thru it. owner was 30 mins away :chair
but that run doesnt look so bad being its a light color
looks good Nex, nice driveway btw lol :cheer:

everything sags with age 😛 i never had much luck removing a run without it ghosting so i always reclear
while sanding some bondo and thinking about this, i remember ford golds used to have a red oxide color primer underneath :stoned
