the rear was a dud, it has the red backing peeling off when I got it =(.

I am on a honda forum, and have been for 6 years, so I am known as the go to guy in my area for the 2003-2007 honda accord, so I have alot of people come to me, since i had a honda accord previously.

those aren’t chips rat, those are chunks ( about .25”)!! his front bumper was resprayed and it has super bad adhesion to the sealer. He got one coming over, they are huge. I told him to get it looked at, from where he bought the car from.

The double sided tape is hit and miss, the back barely stuck, the front worked like a charm, it just sucks if you need to remove and reinstall.

    Thanks Jay!;)

Yea, I might actually be good enough to move up, its the next step. I would probably move to a hood/trunk if given the opportunity

lild, when using your fisheye elmin, you said you put the first coat on dry? so the second wouldn’t run?

How long did you wait inbetween the dry and the second coat.

Yea, thats DBC, I have trusted their line and well I can’t really complain, alot of it has to do with the person mixing the paint too, but talk about dead on.

No blending Nelson, i couldn’t blend, every square inch on that bumper had something that needed to be fixed… pit, scratch etc.

I’d have to say, for the small jobs I do, I can’t see myself buying PPS, the liners work just fine.

I even save the tip and buy zip block pags for primer, works perfect.
Keep up the good work, they are all turning out great!

But from looking at your photos, I have to wonder what its like to have to mow your lawn in December…
Thanks Ben! Mowing my lawn in Decemember is no different from mowing it in june july or august LOL:dnc
What are you doing to prep the raw plastic? what grit sand? any adhesion promoters? and what kind of primer/sealer and is it just urethane or epoxy?
Bondo has some evil ways to prep raw plastic, so I would get with him about that, but this bumper was primed. So I scuffed it with a maroone pad, next time I would either scuff with a gray pad or just put another coat of sealer because i had to sand down a few sanding scratches in my base, then re base those areas. it was no big deal, but just a step that is avoidable.

It is just Omni urethane 2k sealer

Thanks for the p[ositive feedback guys, let me honest, I am nothing without you guys!!

DBC gives some pretty good matches I’d say, once and a while my jobber will screw it up a hair but for the most part I can’t complain, My matches have to be more dead on because I do add on parts.
