So the metalic is powder ? Never seen this before ?
Yes, Metallics are in powder form then mixed in like a normal tint. I attached some photos of the new mix bank and of the powder metallic.

Day 1 went very well. This stuff sprays nice. Good coverage. Ability to nib sand base coat unlike water. Quick flash. Great color match so far. Metallic lays down nice. Only thing I noticed so far is the rep said the color decks only go back to 2000, but they are working on it. You do use the same camera as chromax pro. And the metallic is in powder form, unlike the water. Rep said that in in the process of being switched to wet metallic bases as well. So far, love this stuff.

I don’t see why some people don’t like to continue there education. On the job training is irreplaceable, but you have to keep up with the changing technologies, different metals, where you can and cant weld on vehicles. Going to classes is the only way to know for sure that you are the best tech that you can be. These days the technology on vehicle changes so often, how would we know about things like Active Grille Shutters with out proper education.

Andy, how does your water based paint react to the weather when its raining out or snowing? Do you have a lot of redos from weather problems?
Your car needs to go to a frame shop. The front end needs to be measured and possibly pulled straight. The rad support is technically structural and must be welded in (after the body is straightened). This should be done by someone qualified! Sorry to say it, but this is a safety issue
Couldnt agree more. and if the rail is bent too, not a simple fender replacement to be doing in your garage at home.
