I spray ppg products and use a tekna with 7e7 cap for clear at this point also.. it will lay the clear down nice. but is slower then a RP for clearing but is faster then an hvlp for clearing..
Yes the 7e7 cap is the one to use and it is the compliant air-cap.

If it dbc u are using leave half of the 821 flop adjuster out of it to get rid of the blue flop as that flop adjuster has a blue haze to it(im not sure if that color has it in it or not can’t remember)..if it envirobase u are using then i have no idea..
which air cap are you using on your tekna? im using the 7E7 aircap with a 1.4, have been trying to find the sweet
spot for spraying clear. I usually spray the clear (either energy pro or superior) at anywhere between 19 and 22 pounds wide open, with around 45 pounds at the gun. Just wondering if you found a specific Psi that works well for you, usually if I use the gun for base i will spray between 16 and 20 pounds.

Everyone paints a little different so if what u spray at works keep using that. and if he gets the acceptable results at what he sprays at that is fine to.. it also depends on the gun u are using.. i don’t spray every color at the exact psi.. as some metalics need a little more or less psi to get them to match a little better.(give or take a few psi..) I don’t use diamont.and don’t spray with a sata..i use the devilbiss tekna and somewhere between 20-23 is what i use for base..

:agree i also have bought my own fresh air setup and use the sata vision..it is well worth the investment and that was about 10 years ago.. i sprayed with the charcoal mask full time painting for about 6 months and got tired of burning eyes etc.. so it is a good investment and a must imo..Looks great even if it is a Ford:clappy

Looks like cracked body filler to me also. take a little flat screwdriver and try pry on the crack a little and see if body filler falls off
Looks good ryan..That clear looks like a great product.. was part of the job insurance?(handles out) and the rest customer pay?(mask handles)
Did u leave the sun roof open so u could reach the middle of blue pickup roof?:p
