I would much rather buy my own that way I’ll make sure it doesn’t get wasted by the other people using it but the guys I got do a pretty good job not wasting materials but they could always do better

Cromax pro there’s just a lot of issues with it and on top of the issues we are not set up for water so it takes longer to do a job and a lot more money per job

I’ve done all of that and all they tell me is they have a very good relationship with our jobber and are not switching cause the jobber helped them out years ago when the shop almost went under and I keep telling them any jobber would help out just to keep your business but I’m pretty much stuck with what I got no matter what I do

I use cromax pro and I can’t even mix that color and my jobber has to mix it with spies cause u have to have a special toner but even with spies it still takes me 4 to 5 coats and yellows if u do t have a yellow sealer might as well mix up a lot if paint cause it don’t cover at all so say no to cromax pro ha ha

Where I am there has been a lot of shops that went spies after our jobber switched paint lines. But I’ve heard a lot of disappointed customers cause of cost and color match with the spies

We use it a lot in our shop with no issues but we try to keep it in the body shop and not in the paint shop

My jobber is a problem but the water is the biggest but I’ve MADE it work for me but a lot of painters around my area r the same but I’ve heard of people liking it but not here in the south mainly farther north paint stick u sound like a sales rep not a painter

Tati coats suck so much worse now. The sway they want us to do it is put your wet bed then do 10 percent base to wet bed spray it then do a 30 percent then a 50 percent in wet bed then do full strength then bake for 10 min then do pearl same way then bake again then clear so for a fender, door, door and quarter your looking almost 2 hr in the booth just for base

They own the shop but they are great people to work for they’ve just been taking advantage of by the jobber because they are so loyal to people

They have had the same jobber since before I started and I’ve tried everything I can think of to get them out but they have a good relationship but I’ve even caught them not give us our discount and all my boss said was they will make up for it they r goin through a rough time and I said they shouldn’t make us pay for they bad business but they stayed with them anyway
