Yea I know all paint companies have price increases a few times a year and far as my jobber I think they t probly the worse ones around when it comes to pricing they have been caught numerous time jacking the price up by like 30 percent over list then telling the customer they r getting 30 off so there is really no hope with goin through my jobber but thanks for everyone’s input
We r suppose to be getting 35 off list and each car gets it’s own materials ticket to track materials And I’m the only one using the product the only thing my preper uses is primer and he’s good about leaving no waste. My jobber is probly one of the worse in the area the switched from Sikkens to DuPont about 2 years now and they r not up to date with anything and no support but like most jobbers they tell me everyone else is making money we don’t know y ur not but I call those shops and they’ve been told the same thing but oh well shit happens and boss says we’re staying with the jobber cause they have a good relationship
I just want someone to tell me or help me make money with this crappy paint I’ve made it work but it’s really hurting my wallet at the end of the month I don’t want the whole sales reps speech I want help making money but I’m really starting it think you can’t with cromax pro
Best thing I’ve found is Sikkens anti static cleaner with a gray scuff pad just spray the bumper down with the anti static cleaner scuff with scuff pad and rinse again with the anti static cleaner wipe off the bumper blow dry then stick it in the booth I’ve had no problems this way no matter what type of plastic
I’ve been to all the training classes they offer the all say the same thing as my jobber the paint is the best and its the painter but why is it when I talk to the other painters around my area they get told the same thing and my jobber has issues using the product as well and the tech reps for my jobber want to leave cause they don’t want to use cromax
It’s a different animal then other waters the other waters are a lot more user friendly then cromax is but if u like to fight the paint u use u will love cromax and really love it if it doesn’t work the first time either wash it off or completely redo the whole job and twice the material
There’s painters that like but not many but I’ve used cromax for a little over a year and hate it. It cost a lot more and you use a lot more paint cause u have to put it on wet and you have to have the camera cause you can’t use the chip deck cause they don’t match what u spray and really too much crap and not enough reward for what you have to put up with to make it work
