Sounds like ur bill will triple I thinks that’s one 1 of the biggest issues I have with my jobber is they siad it was cheaper and I will make more money at the end of the month and all it’s done for me is cause headaches and an ass chewing at the end of the month from my boss
Yea I went from 4 to 5 a day to 2 to 3 a day so yea I agree not faster and I don’t know if u make money on materials but ur materials bill will go up a good bit I went from 5000 to 6000 a month to 7000 to 9000 with Cromax pro I had it where I was spending 5 to 6000 and still making good profit with autobase plus Ive only made a little money off the Cromax I’ll be lucky to break even this year with Cromax
Yea I’ve had a couple of job cap off and looked dry felt dry but when I cleared it lifted and looked like the while job reacted and had to redo the whole job and all dupont said was need to put heat on it and blow it longer and I can’t stand the way they want u to spray it I like the way Sikkens and envirobase spray just my opion
Yea they want u to spray it completely back asswards and it works both ways and on ur 3 stages mix like 5 to 10 percent base to like 75 to 80 percent pearl and put maybe 5 to 10 percent blender and it helps a lot with blending ur ground coat yea I cant stand how they want u to hammer the base and to me it’s seems to use more base per job then with solvent how has ur dry times been with standoblue
Yea it’s has it’s pros and cons some big things I’ve found out is with white don’t load it up u need to do like 3 to 4 coats at about 10 inches away if not it will fisheye the clear real bad and same with straight black the base will fisheye not the clear with black and don’t run the base if u do might as well just wipe it off and start over
Some things to try to help u if ur having any issues blending mix 3 parts blender 1 part controlle and 1 part base that helps me with hard colors to blend and another thing is if ur having trouble keeping the wet bed wet they should have an additive to add to it so it will stay wet a little longer an calibrate ur camera every day not once a week or once a month and change batteries once a month if u need any help I’ll try to help best I can
I haven’t had any peeling problems mainly color match and if u don’t put the activator in the base it’s a pain in the ass to sand and fix it in the booth the new camera is the acquire plus efx and the older one is the acquire rx I keep hearing the new camera is a little better cause is measures the flake size which really helps .
