I’ll bet the paint is worth more than the car.
Looks good though. Who’s idea was it to do this to a Corsica again? 😛

    Yep. that’s it.
The worse tool I ever bought was a drill bit sharpener…
First time I used it, it like stripped the holder out or something, so it wouldn’t hold the bits right and it would cut it entirely fucked up. so you couldn’t drill anything with the bit… Destroyed every drill bit it touched…
Haven’t used it since, I’d rather sharpen it by hand with a stone… :S

I’ve got a set of Robogrips… Hell they don’t work bad as long as you don’t mind them tearing the shit out of everything they touch…

I told you bolting that gallon pressure pot to the top of your gravity feed was a bad idea…

No but seriously. How did you manage that? :S

What you couldn’t find any of my quality work on that one? :cheer:

You know it’s true quality when they use BOTH Sheet rock screws and Rivets!

    Pretty neat Vids.
Interesting back and fourth Method you use there on Shooting Clear.
Never seen it done like that.
I’ve always been a stripe layer

It’s actually one of SW off lines. Used to be Martin Senior 15410. Now it’s ACME FC710
    10 is spot/panel. 20 is overall… (If I remember correctly.)

A strip disk would have made quick work of that.

Strips like 60. leaves a 120 grit surface. And doesn’t have any effect on the metal.
    Makes quick work of E-Coats.

But a little note for Andy is. The last thing you want to do when using chemical strippers, is to leave any of the coatings that were exposed to the stripper on the car.
It might stay on, but there’s no telling what effects it chemically could have had to it.

That is sort of interesting. I guess they assume they’ll have hard hits in the side…

See Joe. I told you driving that thing VIA satellite was a bad idea!

I do quite a bit of lining and texturing.
I generally always use a shultz gun. But then again. I generally do tons of the stuff. You do it enough and you’ll be able to match anything.

The Spray bomb stuff really isn’t that bad. Just a little more inconsistent on how it sprays so unless you’re doing just a small area. you’ll have a hard time keeping the texture “Just right”.

You just want to avoid going too wet. or it will start to level out.
But it’s not a huge deal if you do. You can always let it set up a little. then go over it with a lighter coat and it will texture back up.
