In which video are you refering to? The base is sprayed with 1 wet coat at about an 8 inch distance to get coverage and a orientation coat at 12 inches. I used a 1.3 for base. With clear I used my W400 with a 1.4. My spraying distance was about 6 or 7 inches. It looks kinds far in the video but I think its the angle of the camera.

February 28, 2009 at 9:08 pm #13034The advanced G3 and the G10 swirl remover is what I use. I was thinking about ordering the G4, thanks for the warning! I think it works much better than the new 3M compound we have over here.
I have another question for you. I know you have said before that you use Devilbiss guns and I was wondering how you liked the GTI Pro? I have recently bought a Tekna which is supposed to be the same thing as a GTI Pro, they just renamed it for US sales. No matter what I try with the gun it doesn’t spray clear very nice. It works well for waterborne basecoat but not for clear. I didn’t know if you had much luck with them?

February 22, 2009 at 4:34 am #12890How does the shop make any money? There isn’t alot of room for profit these days> That is crazy! I have not heard about this in my area.

February 17, 2009 at 7:15 am #12781I have been told before that I’m a gun whore!:) To be honest I put back $20 a week to put towards paint guns. I have ever since I started painting. 3 of the Iwata guns are almost 4 years old. I’ve got a cabinet with a few NR95’s and 2 FX97 Geo’s in there also.
Better buy all I can before I get the wife knocked up!
February 17, 2009 at 4:29 am #12778Figured I’d add a pic of my guns!
