    Depends on the size of the nibs, if they are only minor just run 1500 grit on a DA to knock them flat then continue on with 3000 grit than compound followed with a glaze and swirl remover if needed. If they are on the bigger side start with 1000-1200 on a soft block before proceeding to 1500.

    600-800 will work fine. Be carefull not to burn through the clear coat.

    You have to sand it flat before you start with the compound. Compound will do very little cutting. If it is there now after sanding it will still be there when finished polishing.

    The 4000 RP is the most loved one around here. Its a little on the slow side but will lay the smoothest finish.

    Yea i bet working outside sucks. I hate it when my booth temp. falls below 25C. :blush:. keep pluging away im sure there are better days ahead. Hows the Autowave been working for you?

    The Enviro clears are Nexa clears watered down (reduced). I use Nexa clear but in an air dry enviroment and let set overnight before de-nibbing/polishing with no issue.

    You should be able to pick up a Devilbiss Tekna for around $400. Its a great all around gun at a reasonable price. I use 2 everyday for the past 3 yrs. and have no complaints. Been hearing good things about the Pro lite too, i havent gotton to try it yet.
