Do you have much experience with Body filler?

You can use what ever sander you feel comfortable with, 6 inch would do it for me. I like to sand back and forth and a cross hatch pattern.
Sand grits will depend on the filler your going to use, some you have to go as coarse as 40 :S and some of the better fillers you can start with 80. just remember Grits usually go up by at least 100 increments to be safe. Most 2k urethanes like to be finished in 320, if thats what your using, best check the TDS for the primer.

I need a bodyman at my shop, been advertising for the past 6 months and havent gotton one response. Seems here in my area no one is going into the trade anymore for whatever reason. The local college instructor said it was “a dying trade”. Dont really know what to do being i want to grow my business but cant without employees. I may have to bring on someone to do their apprentiship, but that has its downsides too..

Are you sure the 3/4 ton HD hood is gonna fit a 1/2 ton pickup? If i remember correctly i had an issue on the front/grill once upon a time. Looking good!

Try not to use fisheye eliminator, it will actually cause fisheyes.I know of a shop in my area thats so contaninated they have to use fisheye eliminator in everything even primer. More than likely its an airbourn issue,it should be gone in a couple of days.
