I think you mean Solid white. What paint are you using? really depends on how good it is.
Insurance wont pay shops in my area to blend adjacent panels on quarter panel relpacement jobs so it comes down to having a good paint system.
If the variant color chips arent telling the true story there is something wrong with either it being a low end paint system or the paint isnt being mixed properly.
Most solid colors i could panel paint complete but i still dont i just blend out the repair and re-clear the panel.
Its a good habit to get into to blend adjacent panels because it isnt worth getting luckey with one and haveing to redo some others. Do it right the first time.
Yes solid white.. we use octoral paints.
yeah i painted a solid white and was a mile out. looked really bad.. redone with a lighter shade as was 3 and all were very close and still didnt look great but was acceptable..
i thought oh it will by alright this time i wont blend its only a solid white.. ended up spending all day today correcting the damm thing.. yeah totally agree with do it right 1st time etc.. thats why asking really do you blend most/all just to play it safe? .. im really thinking maybe i should just blend everything as lately just not totally happy with matches on some.. obv most colours i allways blend like silvers etcJust some bonnet vents i had to fit in a brand new fiesta.. customer wants to cut up poor bonnet allready  was quite hard to line everything up..after lined up screwed a wood template to bonnet after then just used plasma to cut around.. :cheer:
