i would put the heat to it right after spraying. paint can be funny with dry times. if you let it sit 20 mins. to air dry, should of left it alone.
This can be true depending on the product and application. Maybe the product you used was too fast and the heat lamp helped it skin over trapping solvents in. A slower activator and/or reducer may help.
Read the tech sheet for your paint as well as the heat lamp.
macioce made a good point. Some infared lamps cure from the bottom up others cure from the outside in. This can greatly affect the way you dry your work.
here in canada, I like to freeze dry it :kofee then bake it :pcorn: B)
Hi,
in unserm Forum heiß ich majeston….wollte es schon auf Phil ändern bekomme es aber nicht hin=)
Das ist ehr ein Ami-Forum. Finde es aber sehr gut. Hier sind schon ein par Experten….lg
Hi,
hot in our forum I majeston …. it was about to change it to Phil, but do not get out =)
The ore is an Ami-Forum. Find it very well. There are even a couple of experts ….I let it go as was cause it was too soft to work with still when they picked them up …. easier to fix once installed on the truck and once harder it can be filed some, sanded and buffed if it bothers him. These guys up the road here build these jacked up, decked out, trucks for the oil field and drop the parts off and pick them up soon as they’re done. got another set here to do and a stick on hood scoop. :pcorn:
