Ding has one of those Pure Air systems that runs right off his Air Compressor (Y harness right before his gun). SAS as I recall.
He said he hasn’t been using it, Not too sure on the reasoning.

I just can’t seem to get a good enough view.
I either Fog up Goggles, or have killer Glare from the florescent lights…

I think all they need to do is stop bowing the lenses on the Full face masks…
It’s that damn Bow in the lens that glares everything.

In my Ultravue it gets so bad and distracting you can barely see the car at all. And what you can see in some area’s isn’t enough to judge orange peel and film build.

I have asked damn near every painter that I’ve met when this conversation comes up what he prefers.
And even with the 3M Face Shields they’re bitching about glare.

Like I said. they just need to do like welding helmets and make flat lenses… Sure it becomes more restrictive of peripheral vision. But I’d rather see directly in front of me perfectly than I would to see a whole lotta’ glare everywhere.
I think it’s rediculous to think that something can be painted while wearing a rediculous get up like we already wear let alone wrapping an old octupus around my head and spraying blind ….. come on people wake up , this our industry not theirs…. we got a fresh air system :pcorn: 20 years old never bin used …. FOR SALE (free) come and get it :pcorn: a joke , thats what it is a joke. Kinda like no smoking in bars …. f***k*** bleeding hearts …. go get a job. 👿
