I hope you enjoy your new gun and I think the furniture restoration business is a wonderful option. Good luck to you!!!
I have only tried the Finish1 710 clear and am pleased with it. It’s a “quick” clear and serves my needs well.
Good Job Nex, when can I get my resident class of instruction!!!
Cool beans…good work Ding.
Well, I am no expert, but I paint in an area with a concrete floor and put water on the floor and broom it all over the floor before I start painting. Seems to control the dust pretty well since most of it comes from under the car.
Do what Ben and Jayson say.
rust free car. just had some bad bodywork done to it at one point in its life. wavy as a mother. Not sure why he thinks I can do any better
Because he knows you’re the man Ding! :weights
Hmmmm my jobber still sells dc4000 :p
Yes Jayson, I just tested some in a new gun, so the PPG supplier here still sells it.
Outstanding lild, as usual…one day when I grow up I can get rid of my 2000 grit sandpaper as well, haha.
1000 ta 2000 depending how far he wants ya 2 go ;)
OK, do what Bondo said, it’s easier, haha.
Think about what profit you want to make (or what the market you’re in will support), divide that by the amount of time you think it will take to do the work (this gives you your hourly rate for future jobs) and then add materials, shop costs (electricity and etc). Now you have your bid, enjoy.
That’s interesting because when I went from 1.3 to 1.4 I called Iwata directly and the rep I spoke with said I only needed to change the nozzle and there was no need to change the needle. Now going from 1.6 might be a different story. But my gun shoots fine.
