:welc , as far as videos go, I would look at the videos and technical articles on this site and the goto youtube and type “Refinish Network” and “Bondomerchent” these should have just about everyting you might need to see to paint your bike. Enjoy the site.

Thank Ben, I’ll try the UPOL out next time (even though evercoat is so slick I usually end up sand all glazing or spot putty off anyway.

I feel you Jayson, those pictures are actually kind of out of order and deceiving. They are way after filler. That black color is primer and the metal in me blocking everything the second time to get the hood straight. Good look though, you will keep my going in the right direction, I appreciate it!!!

Hey Guys, thanks for the replies, I just spent the time getting the hood fairly straight. Here we go:

OK, I think that’s enough space used up. I’m trying to get as good as you guys.

Smooth, even $300 is way out of price range, cheap insurance company sons of beehives!!! But that $890 or so was aftermarket.

You know, the panels don’t actually have to be straight?

I use white papertowl and microfiber towel to dry after clean and after polishing.

Good deal Bondo!!! You should have made a video out of that one, there’s some line detail and curve production with filler that could be learned. Plus I just want to watch a new video, haha.
well if there a solid color i would ss em all the way 😉 😉 faster big time
Agreed. It’s been a long time since I have painted with SS but as I remember the dry time was much faster than bc/cc. And you can get a respectable finish with SS. Now to the open bay issue, that’s all I’ve ever really used (I have painted in spray booths) and have never had any issues (outside of issues I caused).
