looks really nice!:rock after you finished blocking it and primed it again, what did you sand it with before you shot basecoat?

thanks fox, blocked with 180, then 400, then machined with 600. for the 2nd coat i used 600 grit dry on a soft interface pad, sprayed 2 coats base and sanded again but with 1200 grit wet, then 2 more coats of base. tried to limit any buffing on this thing because its a limo.

lol it has 340,000 miles on it, and “touched up” with what appeared to be spray can paint and the body was so dented up.

i was asking because it seems to have no orange peel! so im guessing the trick is to reduce the orange peel on the primer before you shoot basecoat?

thanks ben, sanding it wasnt all that bad, most of the body is flat. the plastic work i did on the other hand made me feel like :deadhorse when i was done.

Wow a full repaint on a 340,000 mile vehicle. Suprised he opened up his wallet for the paint job. Just be glad you have customers like that. Great Job by the way.
