    August 18, 2009 at 3:50 am #15398

    August 18, 2009 at 5:35 am #15400

ya need ta take the decklid stays off first to do it right a block of 2by4 dont hurt either 😉

    August 18, 2009 at 5:47 pm #15409

    Why did I know

Bend in the right spot  :cens 2×4 :cens

C’MON GUY’S gimme a break I know dang well I gotta bend things but WERE so I don’t mess it up.
I cant afford a new one. not too mention they don’t make new ones and replacements are so hard to find it’s not even funny.

I can buy new after market hinges and was thinking of trying that first?????

    August 18, 2009 at 7:24 pm #15410

can you drop that hinge down a bit ?

    August 18, 2009 at 8:47 pm #15413

By the looks of it maybe???? I haven’t tried any thing yet!!!, I did notice both are loose a little bit on the trunk side but aren’t moving either.

In this pick it shows that the hing will move down a bit by that grove.

    [img] http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t44/Marvinator/41ford016.jpg%5B/img%5D

This one I guess could be moved up a bit does that look like the right way to proceed? at least that’s what I was planning before tweaking any thing first.

My past body work has been trial and error with mostly errors and its getting expensive and time consuming.
