A good quality sand paper, I’d recommend this only if you plan on making your shop exclusive to 3M. The paper has a bit more life in it the the regular Hook It paper & isn’t priced much higher, the downside is you will no longer be able to use non 3M paper such as norton or any other supplier. This seems like a bit of a marketing strategy by 3M but it is defenitely nice paper.
May 13, 2008 at 12:51 am #10346I haven’t had too much luck with it switched to norton 600 and up and it last longer

Not sure if this is the ‘hookit’ you are referring to Jimmo…( digging up an old thread I see ) but I got a few samples of the “Flexible Abrasive Sheets” in the link. I just gotta say..I’m digging this stuff.
August 30, 2013 at 1:11 am #44321That flexible sanding paper is a copy of the kovax I’ve been using this past few months which from what I here is both better and cheaper than the 3m variant.

The super assilex orange is fantastic for blending clear I’ve almost completely swapped to their line now inc da discs which I think last longer than 3m.
Anyone else using their stuff?

I called on a price for the 3M sheets 400-800gr( box of 25) =$52. Eagles are slightly cheaper in the US, but to get them here for me would work out to about the same I figure.
